    Thank you so much for your incredible hospitality. We hope to return some day. Thank you for sharing a part of you with us. We will always remember the eagle and the raccoon family. As we travel back to Alberta we will take many Gabriola memories back with us and we thank you for that.

    We like it so much, we were the last ones in 06 and almost first in 07. This time we discovered the alpacas to feed & Malaspina Gallery. The "Alberta" prime rib at Silva Bay was excellent. Eveline's and Dirk's hospitality as usual is comforting - a tranquil stay. Everything you need is here.

    We leave the island and Gabriola Cottage tanned, relaxed and inspired! We enjoyed the beach, the markets, Silva Bay Marina and many other wonderful aspects of Gabriola. What made our holiday stress free was Eveline and Dirk's kind hospitality. I am hoping to return many more times in the future. Gabriola has captured my spirit.

    We cannot begin to describe the amazing time we had here. We came in search of some much needed rest and relaxation and we found it. Our children had a fabulous time and boy did they sleep. Eveline and Dirk, thank you so much for making our vacation so wonderful. Seeing the eagle is not something we will ever forget. You were so kind and understanding with our children too. We hope to return next year to Gabriola Cottage.

    This is such a sweet little hideaway! Thank you for such a clean, quiet, little cottage so close to lovely walking trails and the beautiful, rugged untouched ocean beach. The rock formations in different parks around Gabriolas coast were so interesting. We have really enjoyed this 'little bright light' at the end of a rather 'weather turbulent' 'non-sunny' summer.

    Thank you for a peaceful spot. We enjoyed our grandkids in this special spot on Gabriola. We used our GPS well and discovered three geocaches on the Island, as well as leaving one new one behind, adding to the treasure on this special island. We loved the beach, watching the sea otter and a seal that got left behind. Your garden is wonderful. It is a lot of work for worthwhile results. Thank you for sharing with us.
